- Comprehensive, science-based blueprint developed to coordinate restoration efforts across the Klamath River watershed.
- Uses a process-based restoration approach designed to address root causes rather than symptoms, aiming to benefit watershed processes and native focal fish species.
Klamath Basin Monitoring Strategy (KBMS)
- Comprehensive monitoring strategy coordinating research and monitoring across Tribes, agencies, and interested parties to assess fish populations and track progress toward IFRMP goals (Implements IFRMP Recommendations 6.2 II-3 and 6.3 III-1).
- Will produce a five- to ten-year integrated plan identifying monitoring gaps, establishing baselines, and prioritizing near-term activities for 2026–2028 funding consideration.
